Remembering Our Fallen - Memorial Exhibit (1:00AM)

This is a very emotional exhibit, “Remembering Our Fallen,” is a sad reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by 137 Arizonans killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country’s uniform in Afghanistan or Iraq. This includes 4 servicemen from Kingman - (hometown of HN Joshua McIntosh, CPL Coty Phelps, SSG William Latham and SPC Seferino Reyna).
“Remembering Our Fallen” will be arriving Friday, February 10 around 3pm with an escort from the Patriot Guard Riders from I-40 Exit 53 (Andy Devine Ave).
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 8:30am on Saturday, February 11 at the Kingman Powerhouse Visitor Center (120 W. Andy Devine Ave.).  Doors open at 8:00am.
The exhibit will be on display February 11th through February 19th in the Kingman Powerhouse Visitor Center lobby which is open daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm at no charge, thanks to sponsorship by “Kingman Taco Bell Restaurants”.

DMS Events - Barrel Racing/Gymkhana (9:00AM - 1:00PM)

"Graywood Stables" and "DMS Events" presents a day of Barrel Racing/Gymkhana (rodeo style events). These events are open for public viewing and are free to watch.
This gymkhana will be at the Graywood Stables  (2576 E. Calle Chavez) take Stockton Hill Rd. north of Kingman to mile marker 14, turn right on Calle Chavez. Sign-ups start at 9:00am with events starting at 10:00am.

Arizona Statehood Centennial Celebration (6:00PM - 9:00PM)

Celebrate Arizona's Centennial with Kingman Parks and Recreation's Arizona. The fun begins at 10:00am on the steps of the Mohave County Courthouse. They will then parade to the Old Elks Building on 4th Street for the Celebration. At 11:00am entertainment and light refreshments will be provided. There will be a Walking Tour of 8 Historical Locations (maps provided).

Friends of the Fair of Lake Havasu City will be offering parking for $5.00, and a Beer Garden at the Rodeo Grounds as part of their fund raising efforts.

KRMC Mardi Gras Fundraiser (6:00PM - 10:00PM)

The Mardi Gras (formal or costume attire) is a continuing fundraising effort that will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Hualapai Mountain Medical Center (3801 Santa Rosa) in Kingman. Tickets prices are $50 for a single and $80 for a couple.  Seating is limited, so make sure you get your tickets early!
The doors will open promptly at 6:00 p.m. with a no host bar sponsored by the Cellar Door and a silent auction. A gourmet dinner catered by KRMC Nutrition Services and music will be provided. Every guest will receive a complimentary mask and a commemorative photo from Off Broadway Photography. This event is guaranteed to be one of the highlights in Kingman for 2012!
