The Supai Village is located on the Havasupai Nation Reservation, which is one of the most beautiful and remote areas of the Grand Canyon.
The area is famous for its three blue-green waterfalls, Navajo Falls, Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls, and for the camping facilities located close by. The name Havasupai translates to “People-of-the-Blue-Green-Waters.” The water temperature remains a relatively constant 70 degrees throughout the year.
There is an 8-mile hike (3-6 hours) from the Hualapai Hilltop parking area to Supai Village. Horse or helicopter transportation can also be arranged in advanced. You are expected to carry your own food, water and camping equipment. Pack horses are available. And remember that whatever you pack in, please also pack out, including garbage.
Supai Village has a small store, a café, lodge and a museum.
